My first scuba dive….

  The thought of my first scuba dive during our ladies’ trip to Lakshadweep was both exciting and nerve-wracking, especially because of my underlying fear—having asthma. Though my condition was under control, the idea of breathing through a regulator underwater made me anxious. I worried about feeling breathless or panicking beneath the surface. But with encouragement from my friends and the reassuring presence of the instructor, I decided to take the plunge. As I descended into the clear blue waters of Lakshadweep, my initial hesitation faded, replaced by the mesmerizing sight of vibrant coral reefs and schools of fish gliding effortlessly around me. To my relief, the slow, controlled breathing felt natural, and I realized that I was capable of handling the dive. The weightlessness of being underwater, combined with the silence of the deep, made it a surreal and almost meditative experience.
